We’re delighted to announce that Monmouth and PROMs2.0 – a pioneer in the operational use of patient outcome measures in the NHS – have agreed to work together more closely.
Over the past four years, PROMs2.0 has shown that using outcome measures in clinical practice can achieve operational and financial savings whilst personalising care for individual patients. Reductions of up to 90% in unnecessary follow-up outpatient attendances; enabling increased capacity and flexibility from virtual clinics and helping to drive and safer, more responsive clinical practice.
“Adding Monmouth’s skills in implementing and scaling up the use of outcome measures in operational practice adds a new dimension to our offer,” said Bibhas Roy, founder of PROMs2.0 who is also a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. “We have had much success in building the clinical and patient case for using outcome measures operationally. Now, with Monmouth’s expertise, we are able to offer the service at a national scale and deliver those benefits much more quickly.”
