Developing a patient and public engagement strategy

Monmouth undertook a major review of how NHS Digital (the then HSCIC) involves patients in its work. Using our ‘Maturity Model’ we benchmarked how NHS Digital ‘performed on PPE’ in comparison with other arms-length bodies. The recommendations set out how PPE might be better embedded in NHS Digital operational procedures and how to ensure that patients continue to be actively involved.
